文章摘要: A floating type spherical rotary vane steering gear was developed. The working principle was represented and the mathematic model of the hydraulic system supporting the new type of steering gear was established. The stability of the hydraulic system was analyzed based on this model. Its response characteristics were obtained using commercial software AMESim. The simulation results show that the output torque of the new type of steering gear can satisfy the requirement of the performance index and the velocity is satisfied with the demand of SOLAS. The conclusions provide a valid theory support for the fixed die of this new type of rotary vane steering gear and are benefit for the control system design of this type of gear.
